TADB to support Women in Agriculture

THE Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has pledged to provide capacity building to women who practice modern agriculture through the Centre for Advancement of Women in Agriculture in Tanzania (CAWAT) so that they can participate fully in adopting ago-business practices.
The promise was made in Dar es Salaam on February 23 by the Acting Managing Director of TADB, Mr. Francis Assenga during the fundraiser for CAWAT that aims to empower women adopt the kind of agriculture.
The Fundraiser was officiated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, William Ole Nasha on behalf of Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa.
